There are two activities that God really wants us to participate in. One of those activities is the study of His Word. Which is why Paul urges Timothy to “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). It is also pointed out in the Bible that Christians should grow to the point that they are capable of teaching the Bible. “For though by this time you ought to be teachers,” it says (Hebrews 5:12). God wants us to understand the Bible, which is why I will be holding the “Understanding the Bible Conference.” I will be teaching the principles and keys to understanding the Bible and finding out how it relates to our lives. Please join us. The details are above.

The second activity God wants us to be involved in is evangelism. Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel” (Mark 16:15) and “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19). Paul, who was the example Christian, said, “For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, that I might win the more. And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law, though not being myself under the Law, that I might win those who are under the Law; to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, that I might win those who are without law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some. And I do all things for the sake of the gospel, that I may become a fellow partaker of it” (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).

It is pretty apparent that, as Christians, we are to be doing all that we can to reach the lost, especially to go to them and present the gospel. For this reason I am seeking to form a group of believers to go door-to-door presenting the gospel. I hope that you will join me. We will start with three training sessions on Saturday, March 8, 15, and 22 from 10:30 A.M. to noon. Then in April we will begin going door-to-door on a bi-weekly basis. The schedule and meeting location will not be consistent, so in order to be involved you must be placed on the contact list. Please email me at dannyleveck@gmail.com to let me know if you are interested in joining this effort. If you cannot make any or all of the training sessions and want to, please email me and I will find a way to accommodate you. Hope to hear from you soon.
